- Someone who might cheat is emotionally distant. Your partner is not willing to talk about your problems, thus, he keeps distance from you. Although you may realize it, it can be quite difficult to accept that such thing is happening in your relationship. Keeping distance is one of the main signs of a broken relationship.
- Lack of sex or intimacy. If your partner doesn’t want to have sex with you anymore, it may be because he is getting it with someone else. But in order to be sure, you should talk openly and honestly with your partner about it.
- The need for “privacy”. If you hear such words from your partner as “I need to be alone” or “I need some time to think”, you can definitely assume that he wants to break up with you because there might be someone else in his life.
- A sudden defensive attitude could indicate someone could cheat. Usually partners understand each other’s differences and they tolerate them. But if your partner becomes defensive, it may be a sign that he is going to cheat on you.
- Irregular financial habits. If you are in a serious relationship and you live together, you probably share your finances with your partner. If your partner spends more money than usual on things which he cannot explain to you, it may be a sign that he is cheating on you.
- Becoming “fashion-conscious”. If your partner before could care less about his appearance and now he has taken a serious consideration in how he looks, you should also become worried.
- They ignore your “inner circle” if they are going to cheat. If your partner becomes distant from your friends and family members although before he liked going to your family gatherings and out with your friends, it is another sign that he is probably thinking about breaking up with you.
- They guard their phone/computer, etc. If your partner doesn’t let you see or use his phone, it means that he hides something or someone from you.
- They’re always excessively late. In a serious relationship, it is normal to have a certain schedule. However, if your partner becomes irresponsible and late, it is a sign that he may be seeing someone else.
- “Something came up at work” is an excuse when someone tends to cheat. If your partner says that he had to work extra hours and cannot give you more details about it, you shouldn’t believe him. Someone who really works late can tell their partner all about it, but if your partner doesn’t explain it in more detail, there is a chance that he is cheating on you.
