A Life That Inspired Many

Hutchins built a strong online presence by documenting her journey with cancer, using her TikTok account, @healingwithbailey, to share her experiences, raise awareness, and educate others about the disease. Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with peritoneal metastasis in 2023, at just 24 years old, she turned her battle into a mission to inform and inspire others.

A Courageous Battle

Despite the relentless challenges of her diagnosis, Hutchins remained determined to spread awareness about the importance of early detection and medical checkups. Through her social media presence, she openly discussed the warning signs of cancer and encouraged others to prioritize their health.

Her story resonated deeply with people around the world, offering hope, inspiration, and valuable insight into the realities of living with a serious illness. Her willingness to be vulnerable and share both her triumphs and struggles made her a beacon of strength for many.

After fighting bravely for two years, Hutchins passed away earlier this month, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and unwavering positivity.

A Sister’s Heartfelt Tribute

Hutchins’ sister, Ashley, also shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, writing, “On February 7th, at 10:30 pm, after a hard-fought battle against this terrible disease, my beautiful sister gained her angel wings. Nothing can ever prepare you for a loss like this.”

Struggling to find the right words to express the depth of her grief, she continued, “You’re supposed to grow old with your siblings. You’re supposed to lose loved ones in the natural order of life. But last night, we lost my sister, my parents’ youngest daughter, her husband’s soulmate, and a friend to so many. Bailey wasn’t just my sister—she was my best friend. I feel incredibly blessed to have shared such a close bond with her.”

Ashley went on to acknowledge the incredible impact her sister had: “She touched the lives of over 200,000 people through her story. She shared her victories, her hardships, her most vulnerable moments. She saved lives.”
