Anthony Loffredo, a man from France who has undergone extreme body modifications to transform into what he calls a “Black Alien,” has left fans stunned by sharing a throwback image of himself before his dramatic journey.
Loffredo has become widely known for his bold body modification efforts, which include removing parts of his nose, ears, top lip, and even several fingers. He has previously spoken about considering a leg amputation as part of his ongoing transformation.
The contrast between his current appearance and his earlier self has captivated many, with the throwback photo—shared on his Instagram page—drawing a mix of reactions from fans.
Fans React to the Before-and-After Photos
After seeing the image, one admirer commented, “You look way cooler now.”
Others, however, expressed their curiosity and surprise, questioning his decision to change so drastically. One follower asked, “You really were handsome, why did you think you weren’t?”
Another wrote, “Live your truth but you were absolutely stunning in your younger years!” echoing sentiments shared by many. Similarly, someone remarked, “You didn’t need to do all that, you were already beautiful.”
Challenges of His Unique Transformation
Loffredo, who works as a tattoo artist and model, acknowledges that his striking appearance has created significant challenges in his day-to-day life.
In a conversation with LADbible, he admitted, “If I want to eat at a restaurant, sometimes the server says I can’t eat on the terrace.”
Speaking on the Club 113 podcast, he elaborated on the difficulties he faces, describing his transformation as “a fight every day.” He shared:
“I can’t find a job, there’s lots of negative stuff. It could be positive because you feel better, but you have to know there’s also a dark side. I’m a normal guy, I work, I have a family… I like being looked at like a normal guy with a job, with a family, who has a friend, girlfriend, all of that. That’s what makes me normal.”
Ambitious Plans for the Future
Despite the obstacles, Loffredo shows no signs of stopping. In a live Q&A session on Instagram, he reportedly revealed his ambition to replace his skin with metal, as reported by The Mirror.
Reflecting on his past appearance, Loffredo has also admitted that he recognizes he was “a very sexy guy” before his modifications.
In a Channel 4 documentary, he said, “But I’m the same person! Same heart! But it’s not my body, my real body.”
Sharing an image documenting his transformation over a decade—from age 25 to 35—Loffredo added a caption that read: “Men call me crazy but science has not yet taught us whether or not madness is sublime of intelligence… if everything that is depth does not come from a disease of thought.”
Loffredo’s journey continues to spark conversations about self-expression, societal perceptions, and the lengths people go to achieve their unique visions of identity.
