Health professionals are raising alarms after OnlyFans content creator Lily Phillips announced her intention to break a world record by engaging in sexual activity with 1,000 men within 24 hours.
Phillips, 23, has set her sights on surpassing the current record of 919 men, achieved in 2004 by adult film actress Lisa Sparks. To accomplish this ambitious goal, Phillips would need to interact with approximately 41 men per hour—an extreme endeavor that has prompted serious concerns from medical experts.
Previous Stunt and Future Goals
This isn’t the first time Phillips has pursued high numbers. Just a few weeks ago, she claimed to have slept with 101 men in 14 hours. Recalling that experience, she described it as a “conveyor belt” of participants, saying: “I just stuck to the bedroom the whole day—I think I left once or twice for a shower. I would call for the next guy and tell the security guard, ‘Send one in.’”
Now, Phillips is preparing for her December 15 attempt to break Sparks’ record. She claims to be “in training” to ensure she’s ready for the physical and mental demands of the challenge.
Expert Concerns
Medical experts, however, are urging caution. Sydney-based physician Dr. Zac Turner, a specialist in preventive health, highlighted the risks associated with such an extreme activity. Turner explained that while sex can have physical and emotional health benefits when done in moderation, pushing it to such extremes poses significant dangers.
“Sex is a physically demanding activity that engages muscles, the cardiovascular system, and triggers endorphin release,” Turner said. “In moderation, it’s akin to a rewarding workout that promotes stress relief and overall health. But when taken to extremes, like in a 24-hour marathon, the toll on the body can be severe.”
Physical Risks
Dr. Turner elaborated on the physical consequences of such an attempt, including bruising, tearing, soreness, dehydration, and exhaustion. Comparing the situation to an untrained person attempting to run a marathon, he noted that overuse injuries and sheer physical strain are almost inevitable.
Turner also pointed out that Lisa Sparks, the current record-holder, admitted to being in pain for a week following her attempt, which underscored the extreme physical toll of the endeavor.
Phillips’ Determination
Phillips herself has acknowledged the challenges she will face, admitting on The Reality Check podcast that she expects to feel sore “towards the end” of the attempt. Despite this, she expressed confidence in her ability to push through, stating that she has “the right determination” to complete the task.
A Health Perspective
While Dr. Turner emphasized that sex in moderation offers health benefits such as stress relief, improved cardiovascular health, and strengthened emotional connections, he warned that Phillips’ planned activity falls into a category where risks far outweigh rewards.
“Fatigue diminishes the pleasurable aspects, and the constant exertion transitions from beneficial to harmful,” Turner said. “While it may qualify as a cardiovascular workout, it’s one that will likely result in more harm than good.”
As the date for her record attempt approaches, Phillips’ controversial plan continues to draw widespread attention and concern from both health professionals and the public alike.
