About the Daily Theme

Word Craze Daily Theme

The Word Craze Daily Theme is a full-size crossword published every day by Betta Games — the largest of the daily puzzles, distinct from the Daily Mini and Trivia Daily. This archive keeps every Daily Theme since the game launched, so you can look up any date you missed and see the full verified answer list.

Pick a year in the filter below and scroll to any month, then tap a day number to open that theme's full answers with a per-clue breakdown. The newest dates sit at the top of each year block; the archive runs from February 19, 2021 to today. Every puzzle is verified against live game data before it is published here. For picture-clue crosswords outside the daily format see the main Ann's Journey hub, or explore the Hard Mode virtue packs and Logic Puzzles.

5 Tips for the Word Craze Daily Theme

The Daily Theme is the full-size daily puzzle from Betta Games. These five habits let you clear it every morning without spending a hint.

1

Scan the whole board before answering anything. The Daily Theme has more clues than the Daily Mini, which means multiple crossing paths run through the board. A quick scan upfront reveals the longest answer — that one should always go first because it places the most crossing letters in a single move.

2

Use both the picture and the text clue together. Every Daily Theme clue pairs an image with a written description. The image names the subject; the text specifies what property of that subject the answer covers. Looking at one while ignoring the other is the single most common source of wrong guesses.

3

Count the tile slots before committing. Check the blank row length before typing any candidate word. The Daily Theme frequently uses compound words and multi-part answers, and a six-letter version of a concept behaves completely differently to a four-letter one in a crossing grid.

4

A trailing question mark always signals wordplay. Any clue ending in "?" is using a pun, double meaning, or lateral connection rather than a straight definition. Re-read it as a playful hint rather than a factual description, and the answer usually clicks within one or two re-reads.

5

Cross-check the Trivia Daily for shared topics on the same date. Betta Games occasionally runs the Daily Theme and Trivia Daily on related subjects on the same calendar date. If a Daily Theme clue involves a topic that stumps you, opening that date's Trivia Daily sometimes surfaces the same word in a factual-question format — and recognition in one format immediately resolves the other.

How we check

Verified Answers, Not Guesses

How we verify these answers

Every answer on this page is read from the game's own puzzle data rather than retyped from another site, and is checked against what the board actually provides — so nothing listed can use a letter the level does not give you. The counts shown are computed from the stored data, not typed in by hand.
