About this category

Greek Mythology — Complete Level Index

This page indexes every Word Salad board in the Greek Mythology category — 100 levels holding 585 answers between them. Each board gives you a pool of scrambled letters and no clues beyond the category name, so knowing that every answer belongs to Greek Mythology is the whole of the help the game offers. Typical entries from these levels include Apollo, Dionysus, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus.

Boards in this category average 6 answers, against a game-wide average of 6. The longest answer anywhere in Greek Mythology is Clytemnestra at 12 letters — entries like that are worth hunting first, because clearing them strips the awkward consonants out of the pool and leaves the shorter words easy to spot. Level numbers are fixed, so the board you see in the app under a given number is the board listed here.

Pick any level below for its full answer list and letter pool. If you are working through the game in order you can step level by level from each page, and the category list covers the other 22 themes. There are also 922 daily puzzles and 597 Number Salad boards archived separately.

Pro tips

3 Tips for Greek Mythology Boards

01

Let the theme do the filtering

Every answer in this category is a greek mythology word — the theme is the only clue Word Salad gives you, and it is a strong one. Before you look at a single tile, run through the Greek Mythology words you know; examples straight out of these boards include Apollo, Dionysus, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus.

02

Longest first, every board

Across all 100 levels here the longest answer is Clytemnestra at 12 letters. Long entries consume the awkward consonants and leave a pool that spells the short answers out for you. Boards in Greek Mythology average 6 answers, so clearing the long one usually leaves only a handful to find.

03

Know which boards bite

Level 100 is the heaviest board in this category with 12 answers, while level 1 is the lightest at 5. Difficulty climbs gradually through a category, so if you are stuck, a neighbouring level is the best hint — the boards share letter patterns. The daily puzzle rotates a new theme every day if you want a change.

How we check

Verified Answers, Not Guesses

How we verify the Greek Mythology category

All 585 answers across these 100 boards are read from the Greek Mythology level data itself. Each word is checked against the letter pool its board actually gives you, so nothing is listed that the game would reject, and the level numbers are confirmed sequential with no gaps before the index publishes.

How to play

How to Solve a Word Salad Board

Three moves that clear a Word Salad board, in the order worth making them.

STEP 01

Read every category name first

The category names are the whole clue. Reading all of them before you move a single word tells you which groups are narrow and which are broad, and the narrow one is always the cheapest place to start.

STEP 02

Place the words only one group can take

Some words fit two categories on sight and some fit exactly one. Placing the unambiguous ones first shrinks the pool for everything else, which is what turns a stuck board into a solved one.

STEP 03

A full category is a finished category

Once a group has all its slots filled, nothing else belongs in it — and every word you have left belongs somewhere else. Working by elimination beats re-reading the same word against the same category.
