Type the numbers from any Nonocross grid and the solver fills it in for you, showing each logical step on the way. It works for grids up to 15x15, so you can use it for other nonogram games too.

Enter one line per row, top to bottom, in the first box, then one line per column, left to right, in the second box. Separate numbers with a space, for example 3 2. Type 0 or leave a line empty for a row or column with no filled cells.

How the solver works
The solver uses the same logic you would. It looks at each row and column, finds the cells that every possible placement of the groups agrees on, and fills or crosses them. Then it moves to the crossing lines and repeats until nothing changes.
If logic alone cannot finish the grid, the clues allow more than one picture. The solver then shows which cells are still open instead of guessing. That happens on 8 Nonocross levels, and the answers page lists them.
Solver questions
Why do I get no solution?
One of the numbers is probably mistyped. The solver first checks that the row clues and the column clues add up to the same number of filled cells, and tells you if they do not. Compare each line with your screen.
Can I solve a Nonocross level by its number?
Yes, without typing anything: open the Nonocross answers page and pick the level. The solver is for puzzles from other games, or for when you would rather enter the clues yourself.
Does it work for other nonogram games?
Yes. Any black and white nonogram up to 15x15 works, whatever app it comes from. Colour nonograms are not supported.
Is my puzzle sent anywhere?
No. The solver runs in your browser, and the clues you type never leave your device.
