About this level

How Level 76 Breaks Down

This board is level 76 of the Elements category in Word Salad. You are given the 12-tile pool OOADNCLEZIKT and must find 8 answers, every one of them a element-themed word. That is right on the game-wide average of 6 words per board, so expect this one to take a little longer than most.

The longest answer is Carbon at 6 letters, and the shortest runs to just 4. Finding the long entry first is almost always the fastest route through a Word Salad board: it consumes the rare consonants, and what remains in the pool tends to spell the short answers out for you. If you are working the category in order, level 75 comes before this one and level 77 comes next.

The Elements category runs to 80 levels in total — the full index is on the Elements page. For a different theme, the category list covers all 23, and there is a separate daily puzzle archive with 918 dated boards.

Pro tips

3 Tips for Elements Level 76

01

Play Carbon first

It is the longest answer on this board at 6 letters, and it eats the awkward tiles. Clearing it leaves 7 shorter answers to find from a much friendlier pool — on Word Salad boards the long entry is almost always the fastest way in.

02

Read the pool: 5 vowels, 7 consonants

The 12 tiles are OOADNCLEZIKT — and the rare letters Z, K narrow the field fast, because very few Elements answers use them. Every answer is drawn from this pool only, so count what you have before you swipe: the shortest answer here runs to just 4 letters.

03

You are 95% through Elements

This is level 76 of 80 in Elements, and difficulty climbs gradually across a category, so neighbouring boards share letter patterns. If this one is fighting you, level 75 is a useful warm-up. The daily puzzle uses the same mechanic on a fresh theme each day.

How we verify this level

Every word on this page comes from the Elements level data itself, not from a guess or a copy of another site. The 8 answers are checked against the 12-tile pool OOADNCLEZIKT so that no listed word can use a letter the board does not give you, and the list is re-checked whenever Bloop Games updates the game.

How to play

How to Solve a Word Salad Board

Three moves that clear a Word Salad board, in the order worth making them.

STEP 01

Read every category name first

The category names are the whole clue. Reading all of them before you move a single word tells you which groups are narrow and which are broad, and the narrow one is always the cheapest place to start.

STEP 02

Place the words only one group can take

Some words fit two categories on sight and some fit exactly one. Placing the unambiguous ones first shrinks the pool for everything else, which is what turns a stuck board into a solved one.

STEP 03

A full category is a finished category

Once a group has all its slots filled, nothing else belongs in it — and every word you have left belongs somewhere else. Working by elimination beats re-reading the same word against the same category.
